Last week, we tried a local service for food. It is called KommtEssen I had to work all weekend before and had no time for shopping and therefore this was a great offer The concept of KommtEssen is designed for this kind of weeks. They get ingredients and recipes for five meals and deliver to your home. Only the basics, like for example Pepper and salt you have to have at home. Really great to find seasonal selected goods in the bags and also they try to shop for food from the region and without unnecessary additives! For me it is always exciting to try new ingredients and dishes that you otherwise would not have done. This week that would have been to cook with soy stew. The recipes are explained step by step.

salmon and new potatoes with chive butter and kohlrabi (Salmon with potato, cabbage and chives cream)
Tacoquiche with Sojageschnetzeltes to guacamole and lettuce (Tacoquiche with soy stew, gucamole and salad)
allspice meatballs with caramelized red onions, potato salad and cucumber (meatballs and potato salad)
Jerk chicken with mixed vegetables, rice ( Chicken with colored rice)

Here in Hamburg was the first creative market. creative Hamburg. This weekend the rain pouring (bye summer) so we went there.
I was hoping for a little DIY showcase where you can get started by the matrial and
But the stands were more shopping, less, do it now.But it was still fun!
And, this time I did not purchased any knitting things, instead the things shown above. Seduced into making chains;)

Pancakes
On Thuesday I cooked pancakes filled with cheese and tomatoes, on top some cream with herbs.
Recipe from Deichrunner . I choose this recipe because I wanted to try something new with pancake. I usally just do apple pancakes or add cinamon and sugar, they are always quick and easy to make and always tasty.
The basic recipe for these pancakes was without sugar and even the first one turned out good, nice and round, then just fill them and into the oven they go, very tasty!

Vorgestern habe ich Pfannkuchen mit Käse, Tomaten und Sahnesauce gekocht. Das Rezept is
dike Runner . I've picked this recipe because I wanted to try something new with pancakes. I'm usually only apple pancakes, or simply with cinnamon and sugar, they shall be always fast and simple and always delicious.
The basic recipe for these pancakes had been prepared without sugar, and the very first bit of action:) Then they only have to fill over it with cream and chives into the oven, very tasty!

Yesterday I spontaneously made this bagel recipe . I did not have 812flour so I've done everything with 405er. So this has worked out perfectly. Because of the water I just had to take a little more flour. For 2 people 9 bagels were of course far too much, so I have frozen the rest.

Short Film Treatment Example
Lemon chicken
Chicken breast with leek, lemons, limes, onions, garlic, maple syrup and cherry tomatoes. Nice dinner for a summer evening!
clean leeks, washed and cut into fine dice. Tomatoes small cubes, lemon wash hot, rub off peel. Mix with 1 teaspoon each salt and sugar. Stir in leeks and tomatoes.
a peeled lemon into slices. Hot lime wash, dry and finely grate peel. Squeeze fruit. Peel the shallots and garlic into quarters. Wash the meat and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper and chili. The meat in the olive oil on each side 3-4 minutes until golden brown, remove. Shallots and garlic in hot cooking fat fry. Pour into an ovenproof dish, then place meat.
gravy with lime juice, deglaze. Stir in lime zest, maple syrup and butter, bring to a boil and pour over the meat. With lemon slices , Document distribution leeks and tomatoes over it.
Bake in hot oven for about 20 minutes. In addition there was rice.

Pizza Asparagus
I want to make the most of asparagus season! So this time I tried asparagus pizza. Own creation, just added everything that I eat with usally asparagus.Quickly done and very tasty!
Ham, green asparagus, hollandaise sauce, onions and cheese:)
I still have a little advantage of the asparagus season! Therefore, by this time I tried asparagus pizza. Just have everything else I eat asparagus done so with it. Ham, asparagus, hollandaise sauce, onions and cheese. Went quickly and was very tasty!

Summer cake
I've discovered this great cake here and had to copy it immediately. I can only recommend, it was fresh and very delicious. Just right for the summer!
Quit easy as well, mix yogurt and cottage cheese together and add sugar and vanilla sugar. Then put some lemon or lime juice Dissolve gelatin in. according to package instructions. Meanwhile, wash and slice fresh strawberries. Put the "Milchschnitte" in the baking dish and top with the strawberries. Pour the Gelatin into the yogurt and over the strawberries. Leave for at least 2-3 hours in the fridge.

A good&relaxing weekend. I've cooked asparagus and used fresh bear's garlic for the first time. Very delicious, tastes very similar to garlic.
Later, I tried this recipe for wine bread . Has worked very well and the bread was really delicious, I will bake it again!
Special higlight today, I got a paid Flickr account as a gift. Already started to sort all pics into new folders....fun ;)

The last days we had really good weather. It was so nice! We took advantage of that and used the grill for the first time yesterday. Lovely!
So its time to get the garden ready now! We started to paint one wall white and bought the two chairs last weekend. It was a good bargain, they were reduced at half of the price!
So all my vegetables are growing fun, so much!
